Leave granted by the High Court to challenge case for Michael Staines & Co Client

The High Court has today granted leave to Michael J Staines & Co on behalf of one of their clients to challenge the refusal by the Irish Prison Service to grant enhanced remission. Enhanced remission of up to one third can be granted to persons in certain circumstances. This is the second case this week in which the firm has brought High Court proceedings to challenge the refusal by the Irish Prison Service to grant early release.
